Troubleshooting Options

Enable ESXi Shell – ESXi host server ထဲသို ့ command line ျဖင့္ access ျပဳလုပ္ျခင္း။ Default မွာ system က disable လုပ္ထားပါတယ္။

Enable SSH - ESXi host server ထဲသို ့ SSH Protocol ကို အသံုးျပဳျပီး remote ျဖင့္ access ျပဳလုပ္ျခင္း။ Default မွာ system က disable လုပ္ထားပါတယ္။

Modify ESXi Shell and SSH timeouts – interactive ျဖစ္ေနတဲ့ ESXi shell နဲ ့SSH တို ့၏ sessions ေတြရဲ ့ အခ်ိန္ေတြကို ေျပာင္းလဲနိုင္ပါတယ္။

Restart Management Agents - remote shell အသံုးျပဳခြင့္ေပးတဲ့ management agent ကို restart ျပဳလုပ္ျခင္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

View System Logs - ကေတာ့ ESXi မွာျဖစ္ပ်က္ေနတဲ့အေၾကာင္းအရာေတြကို log အေနနဲ ့ျပသေပးပါတယ္။ log အမ်ိဳးအစားေပါင္း ၆ မိဳ်ဳးေလာက္ျပသေပးပါတယ္။

5 - VirtualCenter Agent (vpxa)

6 - VMware ESXi Observation log (vobd)
ကိုယ္ ရွာခ်င္တဲ့ keyword ကို / ခံျပီး log file ထဲမွာ ရွာနိုင္ပါတယ္။ ျပန္ထြက္ခ်င္ရင္ေတာ့ q (or) ZZ ကိုနွိပ္ပါ။

View Support Information – မွာေတာ့ Serial Number, license key, SSL thumbprint နဲ ့ SSH DSA key တုိ ့၏ information ကိုေတြ ့ျမင္ရမွာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Reset System Configuration - ကေတာ့ System Setting အားလံုးကို နဂိုမူလအတုိင္း ျပန္ျဖစ္ေအာင္ reset ျပဳလုပ္ျခင္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ESXi server ကို ESXi Shell ျဖင့္ အသံုးျပဳဳ ျခင္း

၁။ESXi host server တြင္ ESXi Shell access ရရန္ အတြက္ Troubleshooting Mode Options တြင္ ESXi Shell ကို enable လုပ္ထားရပါမယ္။

၂။Enable လုပ္ျပီးသြားရင္ေတာ့ host server ေပၚမွာပဲ Alt+F1 ကိုနွိပ္ပါက ESXi Shell သို ့ေရာက္ရွိသြားပါမယ္။

ESXi server ကို SSH ေပၚမွ အသံုးျပဳဳ ျခင္း

၁။ ESXi host server တြင္ SSH Service ရရန္ အတြက္ Troubleshooting Mode Options တြင္ SSH ကုိ enable လုပ္ထားရပါမယ္။

၂။ ESXi host နဲ ့ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ထားတဲ့ Client PC မွေန SSH protocol ျဖင့္ access လုပ္ပါ။ အခုေတာ့ window client ေပၚမွ putty သံုးကာ access လုပ္ပါမယ္။

SSH Session ေပၚမွလဲ DCUI ကို access လုပ္နိုင္ပါတယ္။ command က ေတာ့ #dcui ပါ။
DCUI မွထြက္ခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ Ctrl+C ကိုနွိပ္ပါ။
